Raincloud Bird IIby ~blacktigerfox

Here are my two species of birds. The Raincloud bird ( left) and the Pygmy raincloud bird ( right) .

Both of them are males. I posted the females a while back ago in my gallery. Pic is here : [link]

They live up to their names, able to create rainclouds and produce rain at their will (Though normally it depends on their emotions) . Natural made rain makes them very happy; people who live near raincloud birds can hear their beautiful singing which gets rid of the gloom on a rainy day.

But thats their singing. Their normal cries are kinda loud like a peacock. X__X

Like the flamingo raincloud birds get the colors in their feathers depending on what they eat. The ones above are of a balanced meal (eating a variety of colored foods like seeds and tropical fruit) but if they eat more of a certain color then their feathers lean towards that hue.

People who own raincloud birds take advantage of this ability, usually feeding them foods of their favorite colors.

The larger raincloud birds are normally found in tropical places where rain is abundant such as the amazon. Their pygmy counterparts are there too but normally people catch them and keep them as pets. To keep their colorful feathers pygmy birds eat a diet like their larger cousin..but also enjoy eating colorful human foods such as kids cereal ( Fruit loops, trix, the marshmellows out of lucky charms ) and candies ( skittles, starburst) .

While female raincloud birds are very sweet and enjoy people's company Male raincloud birds are very owner and mate oriented. They do not hesitate to attack people who get a little too close to their loved ones for comfort, but once they get to know you they can be very affectionate.

Truthfully I wouldnt have even thought of making birdies if I hadnt met you. *Blushes* Birdies werent really my forte, so I tried a lot for you!
